This case explains how to setup an encoder for a standard use scenario of broadcasting a UDP multicast input channel, using a multibitrate adaptive streaming format - RTMP.
You need RTMP server to publish via RTMP protocol. We have successfully tested Noisypeak encoders with Wowza® RTMP server, Adobe® Media Server™, Akamai® RTMP publishing, YouTube® RTMP publishing and Nginx® server with RTMP module.
The encoder supports WebDav, FTP and Samba protocols to publish HLS, DASH and Smoothstreamingto some external servers. First you need to prepare your server. You can find some setup examples bellow.

The Blackmagic UltraStudio SDI is the perfect solution for SDI encoding via USB3.0
You may use our transcoder to encode video files to Apple HLS format for VOD streaming service. Source file should be in Transport Stream (TS) container
The following procedure describes configuration of MPEG-DASH output from UPD multicast input
Noisypeak provides a number of test streams designed to show how its encoders work in various configuration scenarios
Following the first video in this series, where Paul demonstrated live streaming from HD/SDI camera, now he shows how easy it is to setup NP One for broadcasting live signal from security IP-cams. In this case, cameras are connected to the encoder via the standard IP switch.
UDP Multicast is often used as a source signal in the service provider's environment. Noisypeak encoders support comprehensive set of parameters for handlig SPTS/MPTS streams as well as input channel reservation for better reliability in operator-grade systems.
NP One is the smallest - yet very powerful - hardware encoder in Noisypeak product line, although It should not be judged by its size.
